Located on a hill overlooking the city of Brno. This particular spot lies in a small valley between two higher points, creating a sense of an oasis isolated from the nearby city. The main goal of this project is to enhance this feeling of seclusion, offering a space for leisure and relaxation.
The new house is conceived as a petit cabanon, a small retreat providing temporary shelter and minimal comfort for occasional use. Its modest, vernacular form blends in with the variety of garden houses in the area, while its design remains modern and minimal. The volume is optimized, and the construction details are designed to ensure easy maintenance and long-term durability. Vertical slats unify the shape and allow the building to be securely closed when not in use.
